question about the name "max"

I love Max as a nickname but what options are there for his full name?

Maxwell?

Any suggestions for Max or similar names and if so which names do you prefer?

My DS is Mason Everett and I'd like something for the new baby that is equally matched.

DS is Maddox, but is called Max. There is also: Maxim, Maximilian, Maximo, and Maxwell. You could also just do Max. I think it's strong enough to stand on it's own.

I'm with you - I LOVE THE NAME MAX and I think it can stand alone. But DH thinks that reasoning is crazy (I've tried to convince him that we could simply name our baby Will and he was just like - no way.) I like Maddox, Maxwell and Maximilian as well.
