So I just went in for yet another follie check...
I am responding a LOT slower this cycle than my previous one even though my dosage is the same. Is that weird?
Anyway - I have been on Estradiol cus my lining sux. Today I had two follies at 17 and one at 13. My lining was an 8 (biggest yet!) but she said it wasnt tri-layered and it concerned her.
She upped my estradiol to twice a day and wants me to come back in to check either Sat or Sunday.. I will trigger then and do b2b iui the next 2 days. She wanted to know if I wanted to go Sat or wait to Sunday to see if that 13 will mature enough to have 3...
So what do you girls think? How bad is this lining? I dont have much knowledge or research done on tri-layered or not... Has anyone had any experience? Also I think I am leaning toward waiting until Sunday cus I would love to have 3.. but I dont know... What are your thoughts?

My RE mentioned triple striation lining a couple of times. Usually it was to reassur me that even though my lining was pretty thin, we were ok because it had those three layers you're talking about. I don't know what it takes to get them, though.
As for when you go back in, I'm suprised your RE left it up to you. Usually they make those decisions for you--he/she is the doctor. Good luck!
I know right? She IS the doctor! I was curious about that too - I guess she left the risk up to me? I dunno. I have never had her do anything even remotely like that before...

the triple layer is the most important part of the lining. Without it there, there could be trouble with implantation.
The number sounds good though. So I hope by your next check that triple layer is there!
I am sure she was leaving the number follies to ovulate up to you because of the risk for triplets. Some people are okay with risking that and others aren't.
My sister never has a great lining - she has pictures of it and it always looks all white. She has gotten pregnant twice with clomid. So not sure it is a huge deal. She said her RE never really mentions it.
I'd wait on the third follie on Sunday, and not lose much sleep about the lining thing.
My lining has been an 8 before in the past, but never had issues with it.
Best of luck getting the third one to grow, I had 5 on my last cycle. I triggered with 1-18, 1-16, 2-14 and 1-13. I ended up getting pregnant and then m/c. I am doing follistim now but did clomid in the past. It was hit or miss with follicles on clomid. I assume that is the same with any medication.
Good luck this weekend!
