Yes. They have both gone through phases of wanting to 'wash dishes'. I let them have 10 minutes or so. 2 strikes for spills on the floor before they are cut off. 1 if it is intentional.

Yup. My kids are obessed with washing their hands and brushing their teeth so I will allow a few minutes to "play" in the bathroom sink when we are upstairs.

LOL! My DD does the same thing! She loves to bathe her dolls. DS is over that stage thank heavens. It drives me nuts b/c she comes out soaking wet, asking for new clothes and the bathroom gets messy.
Yes DD loves to play in the sink and wash her tea pots and give her barbies a bath. She usually plays for 10 mins as long as she doesn't spill water intentionally.
This is a normal winter activity for us. Strip them down, put some towels on the floor, fill up both sides of the kitchen sink and let them go to town with whatever toys they choose.
Yes. In fact, DD1 has a bowl full of water on the table and is having a pool party with her dinosaurs and her polly pockets. If it keeps her entertained, I am all for it!
