just found out today my DH has to go to London until May. He is
probably leaving next Fri. I'm so sad. I'm going to miss him and sad
that he will miss some of the fun baby stuff! I would be upset if even I wasn't pregnant but I think thats making it worse. I'm happy he still has a job but I hate staying in the house by myself. Sorry for rambling!

Wowza, that's a long time! It would suck anyway, but especially being pregnant. Good luck, and hope the time he's away flies by!
My DH travels, but only for a week at a time. I hate it - I'm nervous being in the house by myself, and I'm lonely with only the baby here to talk to. I can't imagine him being gone for 4 months.
Will he be able to come back and visit? Can you go over and visit him? What a bummer!

Baby Sister is coming soon!
YIKES! That's a really long time! It definately stinks that he will miss out on pregnancy things, but thankfully he will be home before baby arrives!
Mine never travels, but I used to. Wowzer, four months is a HECK of a stint! My longest project was only three weeks away from home. That is horrible that his company won't pay for, at very least, monthly flights back home.
Mine is gone at least 2 nights a week but typically not for more than 5 nights at a time. It stinks. But this is way way way better than the amount of traveling he did while we were dating. But I find it really tough being a SAHM when he travels because there is no break or relief ever. It's constant. It makes me appreciate all his help with the kids and house when he is home since it's such a contrast when he's gone.
That's a long time for your H to be away. Will you be able to visit him at all while he's gone? My best advice is to cut each other a lot of slack and make sure you take care of your relationship during the absence. Good luck!
