This mama is craving some good chinese food and I am looking for ideas on what to order for Eliza. Dh and I like it hot and spicy, so she won't be able to eat off our plates. What are your go to foods in Chinese restaurants for LO?

We always get the girls chicken fried rice. I also offer whatever I order. I like it spicy too. Betsy will say, oh, mommy, that's too spicy. Carly will say mmmm and go crazy until I give her more. They are so different!

Check the vegetarian options -- most have a Buddha's Feast type option -- just steamed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, etc.) This is what I usually order anyway and I share my veggies and rice with E.
After 20 months, 3 Clomid cycles and 4 IUI cycles, IVF #1 with ICSI = BFP!
DS LOVE General Tso's Chicken. I was shocked and thought it would be too spicy for him but he would eat a whole plate of it. We also give him some pork fried rice, white rice, lo mein but really he just eats the Generals.
We get the girls steamed broccoli and white rice. Sometimes they'll eat the chicken if we order s and s chicken ( they love the sauce) We get the chinese twice a month because they'll eat a qt of broccoli between the two of them and I love chinese food.

I usually order steamed chicken with broccoli or mixed veggies (well, when I'm trying to be healthy) so she eats that. I get the sauce on the side so she can dip the chicken if she wants to. She's not a fan of rice so she won't eat that. I've never given her lomein but I think she'd really like it.
DS likes beef and broccoli (he loves broccoli) and the way they cook it, it is tender enough for him to gum.
I also give him chicken fingers.
He hates spicy, he cried bloody murder when I gave him a bit of bourbon chicken once, and that is even a mild spice. And he hates rice.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.

Thanks, girls! Lots of good ideas. She loves foods with intense flavors and tons of veggies, so I think Chinese will be a hit. I will certainly let her try whatever we get, but the few times we have tried spicy she has not liked it.

For some reason I've been hesitant to serve Chinese food to K, but seeing all these responses makes me feel better about it. I have no good reason for NOT giving it to her, so yay!!
Re: Chinese food suggestions for toddlers?
we rarely eat chinese food- but the one or two time she's had it she stuck with the chicken finger things & fried rice.
she likes spicy though- so she had no issues eating off our plates either.
look at the birds | bless this food
