Runners?

Any runners out there?

I'm two weeks easing back into my old routine. It's going better than I thought it would but still not my old self yet. I haven't run in over a year. I stopped when I got my BFP b/c of m/s that started shortly afterwards since I'm a morning runner.

Re: Runners?

  • I started at 3x a week the first two weeks. This week I'm trying 5x a week but today was my first time doing two days in a row. I didn't do as well as I usually do. I ended up walking the last half mile.
  • Yep, I am also a runner.  I started back when DS was 6 weeks old and ran a 1/2 marathon when he was 15 weeks old.  Since then I have really slowed down with the running and try to get out at least 1-2 times a week.

  • I am trying to get back into it. I ran up until 27 weeeks but stopped due to back pain. I am running 2-3 times a week now but its slow going.

  • I use to love to run!! Now, with 2 kiddos I just have NO spare time :(
  • I give you all a lot of credit. I am a former runner...I haven't done much for the last 2 years b/c of my back to back pregnancies. I really hope to get back into it.  Are you running for time or for distance?

I plan to run for time and slowly increase the time and frequency.

  • I'm going for distance. Time will come into play at some point. I'm going to do a 5k race in December that I will likely finish last in but my goal is to finish.
  • i'm a runner. started back at 5 1/2 weeks pp. very slowly at first.. felt soo weird too. now i usually get in about 4days a week and go for about 4 miles at a time. still don't feel 100% back in running shape, but slowly getting there.
  • I started about 1 month PP which was HILARIOUS.  My bladder couldn't even make it a mile and running was a joke.  I walked mostly- but I kept at it.  I've been consistently running about 3x a week and am now up to 4 miles without any issues.  It took awhile but it's much much better now.
