I've heard anywhere from 3-12 months.
For pumping moms, when do you start to use the old stuff so it doesn't expire?
Was it in a deep freeze or a regular freezer?
I went by these guidelines: https://www.kellymom.com/bf/pumping/milkstorage.html#storage
My LCs told me:
5 hours sitting out room temp
5 days in fridge
5 months in regular freezer

I used these guidelines as well. But as a general rule I've heard of 3 months in a regular freezer that is with your refrigerator. And that it could stay good up to a year in a deep freezer. I kept my BM in a seperate deep freeze.
DS #1 born January 2010. DS #2 due June 2014.

This is what I was told in the BF class I took.
I store it in a regular freezer - ours is a drawer below the fridge. I'll go with 3 months to be safe.
Thanks!!
