No gallbladder, vomiting bile every morning???

Hi!

Just wondering if anyone else out there may have any experience like I'm having. I've had my gallbladder removed nine months ago (4 months pregnant, now). I've had a some spats with "morning" sickness which have calmed down considerably the last couple of weeks. However, these past couple of weeks/month I've been vomiting quite a large amount of neon bile every morning. Doesn't matter if I've brushed my teeth or if I eat before I even get out of bed or not. I've made an appointment with my doctor, but before I head in I don't want to go in there and sound crazy or anything. Not sure if this is going to last till LO is born! Has anyone else dealt with any like this????

  • It will be a good topic to mention to your doctor. Your gallbladder only stored the bile, the liver is still busy secreting it into your small intestine. So if your thinking you shouldn't have bile bc there's no gb, there's you answer. However, there may still be concern for throwing up bile if it's persistent, and in large quantities. If it's in the mornings following a fatty meal fm the prior evening, it's prob just what was produced from normal digestive processes being vomited out fm your nausea. I'm no doctor, I do have a medical bkgd though, and I don't think there's any reason to have major concern.
