Daycare website?

Hey Ladies!

Do any of you know of a website where you can find a list of recommended day cares in a specific area? I don't need day care until August so I've just started doing my research and am overwhelmed by the number of day cares I'm finding. I know there are websites that will list day cares that have certain qualifications/have been recommended but don't know where to look! It would at least give me a starting point! Thanks!

I have one but it only does the Seattle area. Have you tried your local board?

You can try to do a google search for Child Care Council of ________________ (insert the county in which you live). That is how I found a list of daycares in the county that I live in. Good luck!

I've been reading mamapedia.com. Not sure if that will have what you're looking for but it seems to have a lot of info and some of it local.
