I am 32 and DH is 33. This is our second baby.  I was 28 when I had our first child.  I look young though, I still get carded when we go out for drinks (pre-pregnancy), and people have asked how old I am.  For instance, one of the ladies at church asked when I told her DH and I had been married for 10 years. She said the thought I was in my early 20s.   I don't mind at all!  Just means I will look young when I get to be a Grandma in 17+ years (hopefully)!

DH is 24, and I'm 23 (will turn 24 this July).  We both look very young.  I haven't gotten any comments, but I sometimes feel self-conscious about it (for example, we stopped off at our old university bookstore over Christmas break, and I swear people must have thought I was a pregnant college student).  But that lady is SO rude.  I would be pissed if she had said that to me.  What right does she have to judge?

OP I get those comments all the time! I do have a young looking face, I barely look 17, so people assume Im a pregnant teen! haha

I was with DFs mom on the local sportswear store picking up his brothers jersey and had one of these moments. The owner went to school with his mom so she was telling him how she was going to be a 'Mimi" and pointed at me. His eyes got really big and he blurted out "How old are you?!?!" After I told him , he looked visably relieved and said "Oh ok..."

This is the same here.  How rude of someone to say, I find that people do not know what to say to a pregnant women.  Everyone at work just keeps saying "damn your boobs are huge already", um thanks I guess. 

 Don't let it worry you, being old or young does not make a good parent.  I have seen both old and young good and bad parents, it's the person not the age.

I'm 23, DH is 31. I am a registered nurse with a 4 year degree, we own a house, BUT I have PCOs, and acne, and a VERY young face.  Luckily I don't apparently look pregnant to strangers yet, but I'm sure the comments will start soon enough. 

 My mother doesn't look her age, either, so it's like I tell people now when I get comments - "you aren't old enough to be my nurse" or whatever else people throw at you - I may look young now, but at 50 I'm sure going to be enjoying these genes! 

 Best yet - I have a 6 year old stepdaughter, and have on more than one occasion been called her big sister (by adults AND her classmates!)

20. will be 21 not long after the baby is due, and DH is 23 will be 24 one month before the baby is born. i know i'm young, but we both wanted babies early. the doctor told my DH that he couldn't have kids without surgery so we are very lucky. I look younger than I am. I always get looks from people when I go out like I'm still in high school and pregnant

I look really young, too, but I haven't gotten any glares or pointed comments (yet?). However, I have a brother who's 11 years younger than I am and I remember when I first started driving, I took him for McD's one time. While there, I definitely got a glare or two, but I would've looked even younger then, like, too young to have kids. Who knows. People are funny.

 I have only gotten one comment. My mom and I went shopping last weekend, and we ran into the mother of a girl I went to elementary school with, that also attends our church. She asked how we have been, and "What's new?". My mother excitedly pointed to my stomach and said "I'm getting a grandbaby!!" The woman responded with a disgusted smirk and said "Well... That's good... I guess". I didn't want to say anything back to her, and my mother got rather offended by her. She informed her that I have been married for a year, and it is a very good thing. 

Why would she act like my baby is a bad thing???

I'm 26 and hubs is 26. Boo to that lady for saying that. I remember when my sister and her hubby had their first when they were 23 and 25, we were at a restaurant and had some people VERY openly gawk at my sister and made comments not so quietly. I can't believe how awful people can be sometimes!

I'm 27 and DH is 30, although depending when this baby decides to join us he might be 31.  And, with DS, only a year ago, I was 26 and DH 29.  I want to be done having kids by the time I'm 30, and if it's up to me, we'll have at least 1 more.

I'm 26 and DH is 28.  We both have June birthdays 4 days apart so will turn 27 and 29 shortly after LO is born.  This is our first baby.

About 3 weeks ago, I got a comment from a stranger while I was in the bathroom (I work at a law firm) telling me that I looked way too young to be working there and that I looked like I should still be in high school.  Gee thanks lady...

I am 25, will be 26 when she is born (unless she comes 9+ days early).  This is my 2nd.  I was 19 when I got pregnant with my first and 20 when I had her - you should have heard the comments that I got then!
