Kiddos stir crazy & snow days

Anyone else in the same boat?

So far, we've had no school for 2 days. I am *assuming* that there won't be school tomorrow, either.

On one hand I appreciate not having to wake up at 6am but on the other the kiddos are getting bored.

DH is home with the kids today for a snow day and there really should not have been, they roads were way worse in the morning yesterday.  Whenever our weather guys hype up a storm this much it never amounts to even close to as much as they threatened.

yep, we are on day 2.  Here, they were right to have a snow day.  We have 20.2 inches of snow on the ground with 5ft + snow drifts.  Right now our temp is -9 with a -23 windchill.  We'll see about tomorrow.

Well, tomorrow is going to make day 4 of school being cancelled. So much ice is on the ground.

We are also on day four.  My daycare opened yesterday and I went to work for four hours.  However,  they didn't have enough kids and will not open today.  The roads are crappy.  We have thick ice and then 8 in of snow and relatively no plows/salt...

Yesterday I got fed up after a broken picture frame and a turned over plant.  The kids are bored, we have watched lots of TV, played in the snow (they did not like it), play doh, games, etc...

We will see what today brings...
