Can anyone recommend a sippy cup that has a straw but no valve? DD loves using regular straws in a glass but can't get the hang of straws in sippy cups where you have to bite down in order to get the liquid out. Thanks!
I've never seen a straw cup that you have to bite.
We use Mighty Grip Flip Top Straw cups. No bitting, but it is no-spill so they don't have to suck to get it out more than a normal plain straw we would use.
they have a soft silicone straw that you don't have to bite, just suck like a regular straw, and they don't leak at all. My 5 yr old uses them still, in the larger non-handle version, great for the car. I get them at Target.
The Take & Toss come with straight hard plastic straws that we lose quickly so we use plastic bendy straws. They are not completely spill proof but mostly.
We have the playtex twist and click and it has a valve but you don't have to bite down to use. I don't like anything without a valve at this point because DD likes to pour out the liquid.
We had the same problem. We tried tons. We have been most successful with the munchkin straw cups. DS uses them at daycare and at home. He too had the difficulty with biting to get liquid up through all the others we tried. BRU sells the munchkin ones, but I have even found them at Stop n Shop and Shoprite. Good luck.
Re: Sippy Cup with straw but no valve?
We have these: https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2799857. Also the playtex straw cups have a valve but it is under the lid so DS does not have to bit down on the straw.

I love these straw cups from Nuby https://www.diapers.com/product/productdetail.aspx?productid=21185&site=CI&cm_mmc=cse-_-bingshopping-_-feeding_nursing-_-NY-030&srccode=cii_18492716&cpncode=23-126090353-2
