What diaper bag do you have or would you recommend?

Also do you have boyish one if you have a boy and a girly one if you have ar girl OR is this not important to you? I know people who do both...stick with gender type ....or have a girly one even though they have a boy ....

I have a blue one and I have a girl; blue is my favorite color and DH wouldn't carry a pink bag, or so he says :-)

I got mine at Burlington Coat Factory (Baby Depot).  i would say most important for me that you can clean it and lots of pockets

We got this one because DH wanted something he wouldn't be embarrassed to carry https://www.buybuybaby.com/product.asp?BRN=1&sku=15037920&  We've only taken it to 2 doc appointments and didn't really need to use it, but it seems good so far.

I have a pink coach diaper bag.  I have a girl but I would have gotten it regardless if I had a girl or not.  We also have the Eddie Bauer bag that was previously linked to.  We use the Coach one the majority of the time.  DH uses the Eddie Bauer one when he is out and about with Peyton on his own- which isn't very often yet.

I have a Vera Bradley one.  It's blue, black, and white.  All the Vera Bradley patterns are girly regardless of color and quite frankly it's my bag to carry around baby junk, so I got what I liked.  It's not like Gabriel was going to carry it around, so to me it didn't matter if it was boyish since I was having a boy.

I have this one. I love it. We were team green. I got the bag that I wanted, I didn't really care if it matched the sex of the baby. It's my bag not his.

This is the exact one I have, but mine is the more white version.  It's on sale right now, just FYI.

We have two black diaper bags...one is a Kate Spade, and the other is a Diaper Dude.  I like them both for different reasons.  The Kate Spade is bigger and was great for when DS was a baby because it's open on top and I could get to things easily.  The Diaper Dude is better for a toddler because I can wear it over my shoulder and it has TONS of pockets!

I have a Coach diaper bag and purchased it just because it's something I liked, babies' genders had no impact on my decision. DH kinda rolls his eyes if I ask him to carry it or hold it, but he used to do that with my purse as well. LOL.

There's plenty of room in it, even for 2 babies so it could definitely last you for a long time (ie. if you plan on having more than one child). Here's a visual:

I have this one too...but it's all black. I find it harder to keep organized because there are less pockets on the inside. Everything just kinda falls into the main pocket and it makes it harder to zip. I feel like it hangs open most of the time and I'm always afraid stuff is going to fall out.

I just got a new diaper bag because I hated mine.  My first bag was essentially just a bag.  There were not enough storage compartments and I was constantly having to pull everything out to find the pacifier that inevitably fell to the bottom.  It did not stow well under the stroller because it was so bulky.  There were two straps on it, and one of the straps would always slide off my arm, so I would be struggling to keep the bag on and carry my DS.  The zipper was always getting twisted, so I rarely had it zipped and things would fall out as I threw it in the backseat or under the stroller.  Those are just some things to think about when buying a bag.

The bag I just got is a Columbia backpack. I love it so far because I have both hands free as DS is getting a little more difficult to handle.  There are a bunch of storage compartments, so I can stay more organized.  It is a whole lot less bulky.  I can access the bag through a side access or open the whole bag.  It isn't fancy, but I have just determined that a diaper bag needs to be more functional than anything else.  I should say, that I am not a purse person, so that probably makes a difference in my opinion of the fashion statement of a bag.
