That was interesting.

A while back, I bought a huge pack of chicken breasts and used part of them. DH volunteered to put the rest in the freezer. OK!! Sure!

What I didn't notice until too late is that he took ALL of them (like 5-6 breasts), put them all into one gallon freezer bag, and stuck it in one of the door pockets. It drooped under the rail on the bin and froze solid.

I just had to dismantle the entire bin framework to be able to get the chicken out of the freezer. O_o

  • LOL!  This sounds like my husband.  He had cleaned up the fish he caught, put them in a Ziploc with some water and then laid them flat on the metal grating in the deep freeze.  Well, the bag sunk down into each part of the metal grating as it froze, so the bags were all frozen into the grating.  Whoops!

    My husband did this once, except he must have almost filled the ziploc with water and you could hardly even tell there were fish in the bag!
