We refer to them as the "Pinto Beans". That's what popped into my head after my first ultrasound and it stuck! DH always askes how the "Pinto's" are doing....

Baby, although this week, DH has been proclaiming "my daughter's a blueberry" in the appropriate Willy Wonka voice. I just roll my eyes...he'll be back to "baby" next week, I'm sure. Unless he thinks of a movie reference r/e a raspberry, haha!
DH likes to call "it" Johnny Appleseed since when we found out I was PG, the fruit of the week was an appleseed. I'm more inclined to call "it" the blob (since that's what it looked like on the first u/s).
DH did say to me the other day "We need to know the sex. I don't like calling the baby "is". Haha!
It changes day to day based on how I'm feeling. On a good day, we call it lil' peanut or lil' puddin'. When I am extremely sick and/or exhausted, I call it my parasite puddin'. LOL!
We call him Z4, as in "Zygote #4"... My husband coined it within seconds of me waving the pee stick in his face, & now everyone who knows we're pregnant (close fam & friends) all refer to him as Z4.

I call him Junior, even though we don't know the gender, I will call him Junior unless proven otherwise! The joke in my house is I will demand a full refund if its not a boy! (I already have a girl!)
We found out in the most unexpected manor (having an ultrasound to check on some cyst growth). I was about 4w 3d and there was this tiny little sac in my uterus. So Sac it is! I even sign my SIL bday card "Love, Ky & the Sac". =]
Snowflake - that's what my 4 year old niece said I said name the baby. It stuck as a nn for now.
Otherwise I try to say baby. Every once in a while "it" comes out since we don't know what we are having.
I might start referring to the baby as tumor because DH was rubbing my belly the other day and said he felt something that felt like a tumor in lower abdomen. I told him that he just called the baby a tumor and we laughed.
