What to do?

I have 3 hemp inserts and a bunch of pockets/fitteds that need to be prepped.  Since you can't combine natural fibers w/ synthetics how should I prep the hemp?  It just seems silly and wasteful to run them through a wash cycle all by themselves.  Suggestions?

    Throw them in with other laundry and use CD safe detergent.  I often prep the lone diaper or two with my towels.

    For my hemp inserts I boiled for 20 minutes, drained then boiled for another 20 minutes. After that I just washed them with another load of clothes for which I used my CD detergent and no fabric softener. It would have seemed like a total waste to run a load just for 3 inserts.

    I didn't even think to put them in the regular laundry..DUH!  Clearly I need a cup of coffee.
