The wind is so scary

The wind here is crazy. It's our first big storm in the sticks. It's shaking the house and it sounds like a baby is screaming.

Morning can't get here soon enough

took a while to get ds to sleep, he was too scared & kept asking if it was thunder. ?

crap. ?and now more ice crap is hitting the windows.

I hate the sleet too! When I was putting the dog out once last time, she actually stopped at the door because she did not want to go outside. Her footprints are already gone.

I just went downstairs to grab a glass of wine & looked outside - you can't tell the street from the yards right now. ?Which I actually love to look at lol

The wind is nuts. Its impossible to tell how much snow we have. Some patches are bare and others have 4 foot drifts.

DH has to leave to plow in a few hours. I'm a nervous wreck, I hate when he goes out in weather like this.

We have had "thundersnow,"  the drifts are huge, the wind is terrible, they have even said there was pebble size hail.  I had to lie with Allison until she fell asleep, I never have to do that!

We are sleeping in the living room due to some large trees outside our bedroom windows that have been dropping large limbs. Now I can't sleep out here because the wind is so strong and I can hear thousands of little chunks of ice blowing off the trees and slamming into the windows all along one wall.
