Gymboree Classes?

Has anyone done them? What has been your experience. Please share because I am thinking of sighing Gracie up for some. Thx.

Re: Gymboree Classes?

  • We have been doing Gymboree classes since Matt was 2 months old.  He loves it.  He loves the songs, the parachute, and especially bubbles.

I agree that some teachers are better than others but at Matt's age so much of it is free play that it almost doesn't matter (except the singing).

There are a ton of songs and games that I learned in the classes as well. Oh and Matt learned "up" and "down" in just two classes.

  • We've done them for a year and M loves them!
  • I loved them at the beginning when I wasn't working but now they've become one more chore I need to do. Adrian loves them though, so I've been going since last October. I paid until April, so when that's up I will cancel b/c it's inconvenient for me now, we're signing up for the pool this summer (and maybe swim lessons) and I've met enough moms here that there are always tons of other playdates to go to. And also, I think Adrian is outgrowing it and will be ready for something else this spring.

But I recommend Gymboree, it's been great fun for A, he's learned a lot and I met some nice moms there too.
