How long until Prevacid kicked in?

My little ones started it yesterday. When did you notice it start working and when did you see that it was in full effect?

DD was on Prevacid for about 3 months, but recently came off of it. Her pedi said it could take a week to start seeing results, and maybe even 2 weeks for full effect.

I hope it helps your little ones; it was a miracle worker for us!

It could take a few weeks, it really depends on how bad they are now.  At this point the esophagus is probably very irritated or erroded so the Prevacid will reduce the acid production from the start but their little throats need some time to heal: (

 I wish you lots of luck!  Both my kids had/have silent reflux, it was and still is a difficult road but Prevacid helped both of them!

I saw an improvement in E's mood within 3-4 days, but we still have much vomit.
