BCBS OB/Midwife

I'm looking for a natural-birth friendly OB or a Midwife in PDX.  We live in SE PDX and I'm on BlueCross/BlueShield.  Still looking into which hospitals I can deliver at.  Any info on that would help too!  I've heard good things about Emanuel.

    As always, I'd recommend my OB Lara Williams, who many of the ladies on the board also go to. She works out of Emmanuel at Every Women's health and is very open to natural-birth, alternative medicine etc etc. I also believe she trained with midwives at some point too. She's amazing!!

    I had my first (and am having my second) at Emmanuel and thought it was a great experience.

    Also, I have BCBS of TX.

    I totally agree with the Lara rec.  The only problem is that she's due in July, so she may not be taking moms due in the summer.

    I don't know about midwives, but I know Adventist Medical Center takes BCBS. There is a midwife who practices there, Peggy Hayes is her name.
