Thank you ladies for all the support over C-sections. Tim just can not understand why this bothers me. (He had open heart surgery in 2005 but this is not the same in my mind.) The first 6 weeks after surgery, I cried every night at 9pm (stupid hormones) about this.
As soon as our computer comes back from the doctor, I will answer the challenge of posting my scar picture, jiggley belly and all.
Re: F/U to FFFC/Whiney self post
Good for you, own it mama!!! We have a mama in my playgroup that had twins, you can imagine the toll that took on her belly - she showed it to us, loud and proud and I was so impressed. We women need to remember that our bodies do an amazing thing growing a baby, and be proud of our "battle scars".
You go on the belly picture!
I was able to use having a c-section as an excuse to not tell my oldest DD something. Several weeks ago she was trying to get me to tell her something that was secret. I can't even remember what it was. I told her no repeatedly but she kept at me. She finally said "you can tell me because we are close, I did come out of your vagina" I had fun reminding her that no she didn't and they had to cut and go in after her. LOL
That is hysterical.
