Bathrobes are not frumpy!

LOL. I bought a new bathrobe today because I finally got tired of not being able to close my other one. I got a really fuzzy comfy one that I am wearing right now with my leopard print pj pants. I am so comfortable!!! I was walking around the house eating some yummy strawberry filled cake goodness and DH catches me. Laughs at me, and says, "You look kind of cute, but frumpy at the same time." Then he kisses me and says, "Sorry babe but a house coat is just not sexy."

First of all I have never heard a bathrobe called a house coat so that is a first. Also luck for him I was content in eating my strawberry filled goodness and being comfortable that I just shrugged my shoulders and continued on.

All that matters right now is that I am comfortable!!! And I am! So there! Lol!

Re: Bathrobes are not frumpy!

  • We always said housecoat in my family :)  Mine is sooooo frumpy.  It's so soft and cozy, and comes past my knees, and it's so frumpy that it sometimes makes me laugh when I pass myself in a mirror.  I am super comfy as well! :)

  • We always called it a housecoat....  I have multiple house coats....  i have a huge long fluffy one from Bath and Body works, that is 2 sizes two big but sooo comfortable!  i would say that one is a little frumpy but who cares its pink and soft and i love it!  then i have two shorter ones, one pink and warm and one silk black one.... so depending on the style I'd say some are frumpy but not all... as long as your comfortable who cares! lol

  • My DH just bought me one last night. It's pink but made from a thinner material. It works for me because I am usually too hot rather than cold. I wore it around today, I think it's comfortable.
