  • I'm still waiting-- due date was Friday, so I'm 40 weeks 4 days today UGH. Totally and completely beyond ready to have an outside baby. Luckily, worst case scenario, LO will be in my arms on Friday (scheduled induction). Can't wait to find out if we're Team Blue or Team Pink!

  • Yes, still in "the family way."  I keep reminding myself that we get a lifetime with our LO, so a few extra days aren't the end of the world. Still, I feel like Buddha with my big belly, and every day I get more "where's baby" calls and Facebook posts.  It's a good exercise in diplomacy and patience, if anything :)

  • I hear you!  My siggy is right in saying that I'm just shy of being 43 weeks!  However, I've been doing BPP every 3 days the last week or so and baby looks great.  No concerns, so I'm just waiting for him to decide to come.  I've officially lost my mucous plug this morning, so I'm hoping it's just a matter of time...

  • I went 14 days over without any signs of labor. Needed an emergency c/s due to size. [I was terrified at first, and it wasn't fun, but 2-3 days later all that mattered was LO. So, no worries if you end up in this boat, too!] He was 11 pounds 3 ounces and too big to even descend to signal my body to start labor!

I have no staples or stitches or tape or anything anymore and everything is going great aside from being so exhausted now!! So.. no matter the outcome, ladies.. your LOs will be here soon enough.

  • I'm now 42 weeks 1 day.  To the woman who is over 43 weeks - I love  you!  You are giving me total inspiration with your patience and confidence.  I have not lost MP yet.  I've been having regular strong contractions for several hours to an entire day at a time since 39 weeks, but baby was at -2 and cervix was not dilated or effaced at all on Monday.  He passed his BPP yesterday with a perfect score, and I actually got amniotic fluid levels to increase an entire point between Monday and Thursday by super hydrating.  So, like you, since there are no signs of distress for me or baby, we are continuing to wait.  Medically inducing would mean I have to transfer care to an OB in a hospital, which I do not want unless there is a medical need.

While I hope all of you have your babies soon, I must say it is refreshing to know I'm not alone.
