** A monthly reminder **

Since its February 1st, and since I just found out my cousin has been diagnosed with breast cancer, I wanted to start a monthly reminder for us - Please check yourselves.  I have to admit that before this news I hardly ever checked myself, and just let the Dr. do it.  I am going to make a commitment to myself and my child to check myself monthly.  So remind your friends, your loved ones, and spread this around TB on other boards you may post on!!

My Mom had BC so I've been checking about 5 years now. Good place to do it is the shower since you're already undressed.

Thanks for the reminder.  My friend and fellow bumpie, Kelly, died of breast cancer last year at 31.  We aren't too young to need to check!
