We have a tradition of getting King Crab Legs and having seafood or surf and turf. They're so pricey we only do it once a year. We don't exchange gifts though, but sometimes cards. I think I'll get DD one of those Hallmark books that you put your own voice on this year. That's about it.
We do nothing specifically for Valentine's Day. My birthday and the anniversary of our first day are all within that same week so if we go out it is to celebrate those occasions

We usually go out but this year I don't see that happening. H sends me flowers to work, so I have to walk all the way from my building down to the main security gate in the cold and pick them up. This is a pain but I don't want to discourage him. He also gives me a gift. I give him a card.

Maybe exchange cards. DH proposed on 2/19 so we usually go out to dinner where he proposed (same place as our first date). Well actually DH proposed in the parking lot next to the restaurant....

Not really since it's just two weeks after our anniversary. DH has gotten flowers in the past, but I try to get him to send them at other times of the year instead. We usually try to have a special dinner and time together, even if it's something we make vs going out.
We usually just exchange cards.....and i've always told him to never, ever spend over $10.00 on flowers "if" he ever gets the urge. I'm cheap as it is and I just can't even imagine him spending $100.00 +/- on roses that are going to last me a few days when I can buy SO much more with that money. We *might* go out to dinner on Firday night if we can get g-ma to babysit all 3. It'll be our first date night since N was born .... oh yeah, you read that right. (sigh)

Usually we just exchange cards. Although, I have been surprised with flowers in the past, I don't expect a gift...just a nice, cozy night in watching a movie is fine.
No - I think I'm more of a boy about this stuff than he is. Matter of fact, in our 12 or so years together I don't think we've ever exchanged a greeting card - lots of little notes, emails, and texts though :-)
Cards and maybe a little gift. I got the boys Superbowl t-shirts this year, so I think that is their early gift.

Nope. We'll exchange cards but that's about it. We're so romantic!

We normally go out to dinner and exchange small gifts.
Kari - this made me giggle! Been at this marriage thing a while, aye???
We usually do cards, little gifts and dinner. I am lobbying for just a small quick dinner out and/or a movie - no cards or gifts.
