4.5 weeks pregnant, dull ache on right side

Hello, I am new to all of this! I just realized yesterday that I am 4.5 weeks along. My husband and I weren't planning on getting pregnant the first month we started trying. However, I am worried because I am having a constant dull ache on my right side, it's so low that it almost feels like its in my groin area. Its sore to touch and feels "swollen" compared to the other side. I have no other symptoms (spotting, nausea, dizziness, etc) related to an ectopic pregnancy. My doctor won't see me until 10 weeks (despite my protests) and advised me to go to walk in clinic if the pain persists. Has anyone else experienced this sort of ache?

I had it on my left side for the past few days. My dr. put me in for an ultrasound on Friday to check on my little bean to rule out an ectopic pregnancy although they didnt think that was the issue. How are your beta numbers? They say if those are low thats another sign.

Hi...I have this too (seems like a lot of girls do this early on).  Anyways, I had an ultrasound already and everything is fine.  He did see that I ovulated from my right side (where the pain is) and that I have a corpus luteum on that ovary as well.  He didn't think that is what the pain stemmed from but probably just some ligaments relaxing and stretching.  So...hopefully that is what your's is as well.  I think with an ectopic there will be some bleeding along with more pain than just a dull ache.  HOWEVER....you said your doc told you to go to a walk in clinic????  WTF??  I would get a new doc!!

I am hoping mine is nothing too! It feels exactly like the ache I get mid-cycle, when I'm ovulating. I am supposed to get AF today, so hopefully it subsides by the weekend. My doctor is two hours away, and I live in Canada. So it's hard to get a new family doctor, I am looking though!

How far along were you when they did the first ultrasound? I read that they can't tell if its ectopic until 6 weeks or so.
