B/G twin 1st b-day theme?

Yes, I know it's early to start planning this.  But I'm a planning freak and want everything done way ahead of time.  Plus, I'm on the west coast and I'm planning a party for the East Coast (which also includes planning for me traveling alone with the twins) so I just want to start early and get ahead of the game.

That being said... Any ideas for a cute theme for boy/girl twins?  I was looking all over Etsy, but I am just not inspired.  I want to do something cute and coordinated.  Someone mentioned dragon slaying prince and princess, but I'm not convinced.  I've also thrown around ideas like ketchup/mustard, milk/cookies, salt/pepper, 2 peas in a pod, etc. but again, nothing that is really incredible sounding.

Got any ideas?

i did Thing 1 Thing 2 with the twins - can go for boy girl, too.

i did farm for DS1 - which is a LOT of fun- so many great themed things you can do - for boys and girls.

Toy Story 3 theme?  The girls could have the Barbie character/or Jessie the cowgirl.... and for boys.... Buzz, Woody, etc.   It came out this year, and there would be lots of supplies available?

I'm thinking ahead to ours too.... and my girls love Curious George.  Monkeys are not too girly, but I think it could be cute.  And they love that silly Dinosaur train show. 

What about nature theme? or a bug one?  Boys like bugs... girls like butterflies, etc.

we are doing a rock and roll theme. i do a class with my kids called preschool of rock and we are having the teacher do a performance. i have not worked out any more specifics than that right now but have started obsessively looking at etsy.

i did a dr. seuss theme.  made my own invites, too. 

i can send you my ideas if you want.  their cake was a "green ham" and iced sugar cookies were the "green eggs".  it was a big hit!

We're doing a pirate and princess theme.  I'm doing princess goodie bags for all the little girls (tiaras, wands, etc.) and pirate ones for the boys (eye patches, blow up swords, pirate hats).

Thanks guys!  You all have some really great ideas!  I think the biggest problem is that I like TOO MANY things!  It is so hard to decide!
