I'm bored.

It's really cold outside, DH is working late and I'm bored.

Who has an interesting story to entertain me?

So, when I was 19 I followed a boy to Phoenix. And when I say Boy, I mean a 29 yo divorced from a stripper named Portia. 

I was working at the mall, and needed to take the bus. Somehow I ended up in the bad section of town, on the street, waiting for the right bus to take me away. I worked at Express at the time and was wearing a super slutty black lacy dress and knee high go-go boots, black.

So I'm sitting there, and this guy sits down next to me and says "I could help you make some real good money". Which I ignore, and he says again "Pretty girl like you, you could get a lot. Choose when you work, where you work. C'mon baby, you'll like it". I get freaked out, but ignore him. This goes on for another 5 minutes or so, when out of nowhere cops pull up onto the sidewalk, jump put and tackle this guy to the ground. 

So, I'm all excited, because this is Cops, live, right in front of me. So excited in fact, that I don't notice the officer demanding my ID, calling over a female officer to frisk me. They thought I was a hooker and he was my pimp - because he was a pimp, of course.

I have never talked so fast or hard in my life. I seriously thought I was going to be arrested, and I likely would have been, except that the officer used to vacation not far from where  I grew up in Maine, and where my license was from. He finally believed me, HAILED a bus and told me to get on and not get off until the last stop. And that if he ever saw me again I would be in trouble, etc. 

The last stop was the Zoo. I've never been so happy to be at the zoo in my life.
