Spotting with ovulation?

I know, check with my Dr., which I will be but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. After Aunt Flo rejoined my life after Ds was born it was really heavy compared to before Ds was born, which I hear is normal. Well, a couple of months ago....maybe Octoberish (@ 10 months pp)...I'd start having pms symptoms about the time I'm assuming I'd be ovulating. Assuming because I never check to see for sure if that's when I indeed was Oing. I"d have a day or so of bloat/mild cramps like my period was imminent and then I'd have spotting for a couple days after. Normally just the brown stuff, but sometimes a bit of red. Then, I'd get my period about 2 weeks later. Anyone experience something similar?

EDT: Guess I should have google first. Supposedly this is a sign of fertility. If so, it certainly will make TTC#2 much easier

Well then that's a good thing, although annoying I'm sure!  FWIW, my AF is much worse than pre pg too.  Maybe it just comes with the territory.
