Has anyone ever heard of the Beale treasure?

I'm not sure of the whole story but some think there is treasure buried somewhere in Shenandoah County, VA

My FIL is obsessed and he thinks he's getting clues that will help him solve it.  He won't stop emailing them to me.  Now my H thinks he's going to figure it out.  I did not sign up to live in National Treasure.

    Oh my god a blast from the past.  I was obsessed with the Beale treasure back in high school.

    I bet my mom could probably find all my notes (no joke- I took a shiit ton of notes) in her basement.  On second thought that would require a treasure hunt in and of itself. 

    Fuuck TTC - I'm moving on.
