Wallet: FOUND! Crazy story inside.

Recap - Went to the store on Friday night, went to church, went home.  The next morning I couldn't find my wallet.  I called the church, no luck there.  Called the store, they hadn't seen it.  Tore apart my apartment and the car, ect.  Called the store again - got told if they did have it, it'd be locked in a room and the people with access to it wouldn't be back until the morning. 

*sigh I decided to call the store one more time this morning.  The lady told me she had it!  I was shocked!  I asked if it was long and thin and sparkly - she said, "Yup.  I'm looking at it right now".  So I told her I'd be there in a minute. 

So I get to the store and said I had called about a silver coin purse/wallet.  The woman asked if someone had said it was here and I said yes.  She hadn't taken the call.  She asked all the other cashiers and no one had taken that call.  She asked me what number I called.  I told her and it was the WRONG LOCATION!  But there was one more lady there who had been there Friday night and she recognized my kids.  She said someone had turned it in and she tried to chase me down, but that I must put my kids in the car really fast, LOL.  She knew where it was, grabbed it, and gave it to me!  Wow!  I was so excited!  She totally got a hug, LOL.

So......apparently someone else at the store's other location is missing a wallet exactly like mine.  Weeeeeird.  Maybe I should have gone and claimed that one too, LOL. 

All that was missing was $20, but I'm not even upset about that.  Everything else in there was worth so much more!

Only thing in there was the debit card, and we've been keeping watch on the acct.  so far so good.  I mean, we will keep an eye on it - but will only cancel it if something weird pops up.

I would be happy to get it back, even if all the money was gone.  I would have given the person all the money in it, just to have it back.  Such a pain to replace all that stuff.  There are a lot of good people in the world :-)
