sticking poo with Fuzzibunz?

I've started trying Fuzzibunz perfect size on my LO, and love them, but I have noticed that poo (he's EBF) seems to stick to his thigh and buns, and I really have to scrub a bit with a damp wipe get it off. I haven't had this issue with prefolds.  Is it just because the moisture is wicked away?  I don't want to irritate the skin with excessive wiping.  Any tips?

Hmm.  We've never experienced this.  My first thought is that it has more to do with what you've been eating to cause a change in consistency than the way the diaper works.   Does this happen every time he poops in a FB or has it just started the last day or so?

I notice more of this with my pockets than with the prefolds.  It may be because of the lining moving more of the liquid away from baby.  I have  asquirt bottle that I use to spray down DD's bum on these occasions, then use a soaking wet wash cloth to wipe.  I use my home-made wash cloths for this because they have some thick towel-material scrubby on one side and flannel on the other, so if it is nice and wet, the poo comes off fairly easily.

that makes sense about the absorption of the liquid.  so odd that i've never had that problem.  well, i was never able to EBF due to supply issues so maybe her poo was a bit different than EBF poo anyway.

Thanks.  The extra absorption theory makes sense to me since it only happens with pockets and not prefolds I use the same day.  I'll try the squirt bottle and see if that helps.  I have found the terry wipes better than flannel for this sort of clean up.
