Questions about prepping (new and used)

For my used dipes, can I just was them once hot in RG with an extra rinse and call them done? Or is there something I'm missing? For new dipes, I don't have that many. Can I was them with other clothes to prep as long as I use RG? Or do I really need to wash them separately? TIA!

Used, I just wash once. They're already absorbent, you're just treating them like any used clothes.

New, I have been washing with clothes. They prep fastest on hot, but you can test if they're absorbing with a little water after they've been washed and dried and see if they repel or not. Just keep running them through until they work.
