new here and i have a question

hi i am usually on 9-12 but i thought i would venture out and i would like your opinions. would 9 months be to early to start weaning my dd off of her bottles. she is awesome with a sippy cup. i was thinking of giving her a morning bottle when she first gets up before breakfast and just doing a night bottle before i lay her down for the night. thanks.

Re: new here and i have a question

  • As long as she continues to get the recommended amount of breastmilk or formula there's no reason it has to be from a bottle. Go for it as long as she'll happily drink bm/formula from her cup!

  • I BFed, but I introduced the straw cups with water at about 8 months with DD. I don't see any reason why you couldn't give the formula in a cup instead of a bottle.

  • Go for it! As long as she gets enough ounces of formula or breast milk, its fine. My guys were great with sippy's until I put formula in it. They would drink anything in a cup but formula. The transition was hard for them. Hoping yours is alot easier. Good luck :)
