Did your lines get A LOT darker each day?

I'm trying not to freak my freak, but my lines aren't getting much darker each day.  Actually, they don't look any different than yesterdays tests.    I had a chemical pregnancy in Sept and this is how it started, then the lines started to fade into nothing.  HELP.

youre still reeeeally early..dont worry just wait a bit to test again..

Plus, pregnancy tests tell you youre pregnant not how pregnant you are..good luck

i would suggest not testing anymore.  the darkness of the line will drive you nuts and it doesn't mean anything.

Mine didn't, so I took a digital. The line darkness is not supposed to be related to how pregnant you are based on what I've read. The line darkness can be affected by the amount of dye in the stick. I wouldn't fret over the saturation of the line!

I think the test I took the day after my BFP was actually lighter! I agree with pp, don't worry about how dark the line is. A line is a line!

I understand your concern, especially with your past experience, but mine didn't get any darker. I took one at 4 wks 2 days and another the next day. There was no change in line darkness. Yet, so far, I'm having a very healthy pregnancy.

I took an internet cheapie test every day from 9DPO and my lines got progressively darker each day, until I finally was able to stop myself from testing at 16 DPO.  I understand that's not normal for EVERYBODY and some women's tests never get darker.  I had a c/p last month and I was just a little OCD about testing every day for the same reason as you.

Mine are pretty much the same color today as they were the first day I got a positive (10dpo.)

The darkness of the lines does not matter.

This happened to me. My third test was lighter than my first and I was fruther a long. I am now 12 weeks and everything looks good. I too had a m/c and so I was paranoid. Easier said than done but try not worry....

If you are using IC's, those were crap for me. They didn't get darker at all. I did FRERs every other day, and those got progressively darker, but only a little bit each time (and if I compared the dry test to a still-wet test, it didn't look any darker). And my beta actually came back pretty high. But I also had a c/p over the summer and the lines didn't get any darker on FRER.

I didn't test after my bfp... I just went to the doctor and got beta's. If I were you I wouldn't continue testing, you're going to make yourself unnecessarily stressed out. Have you gone for beta's?

My first BFP was about 12 DPO (estimate, not charting temps).  The last few months I haven't been testing at all because I got so depressed seeing BFNs and I didn't want to know if I had a c/p.  For some reason this month had a suspicion and tested earlier than my missed period.  The BFP was a shock to me so I took one the next day "just to make sure".  The line was just slightly darker at 13 DPO. My beta hcg the next day was 154, so then I knew it was "real"!

The first test I took, I saw nothing, then I showered and decided on a whim to check it and the second line was barely noticeable. When I showed my husband he couldn't see it (room was dark but I shined a light on it..and I had just woken him so he was disorientated. I had to just promise it was there lol.) .....so I took a second the next morning and the line was almost as dark as the first.

Mine didn't get darker each day, I too started thinking c/p but I'm still here.  Stop testing, it saved my sanity.

Yes, my lines did get darker, but it was a slow darkening.

A line is a line, don't drive yourself nuts overanalyzing how dark or how faint they are each day. But, to answer your question mine did get darker every two days.

I didn't test each day, but I tested 9 dpo (BFP) and 10 dpo (BFP w/FRER & digital).  I tested again at 5 weeks 2 days pregnant and the line was so dark it literally sucked the dye out of the control line.

You know what they say, a line is a line.  For peace of mind, ask your doctor for bloodwork to check your beta levels.  It may make you feel better.

Mine didn't. In fact, it seemed like they were getting lighter, but they were different brands. I just bought digitals and used those.
