3-mo feeding frenzy! How long does this last?

Good morning ladies... did any of your little ones experience a growth spurt and start nursing non stop around 3 months??  I had boy boys STTN just a couple weeks ago until they got a cold.  Now they are all better and nursing every 1 1/2 to 2 hours all day and night.........  growth spurt?!?!  How much longer do I need to hang on?

Ours happened at about 11 weeks.  DS nursed 11 times on 11 hours on the first day.  The next day it was only a little less.  I think it was 3 days total. 3 VERY long days.

Oh bless you - twins with the 3 month growth spurt. That one was a doozy for us, about a week and a half of increased milk intake...that if my memory serves me correctly just kind of rolled into the 4 month wakeful period. He's 7.5 months and I feel like we're just finally getting into a good sleep zone after bouts with colds, growth spurts, and developmental leaps but apparently there's an 8-9 month sleep regression too.
