Anyone doing WW Points Plus??

I need to figure out my new point levels (haven't done WW since before i got married), but I don't have the extra $$ right now to do it online etc.  I have an app that I downloaded on my phone so I can figure out the points for food, but I need to know how many points I get a day.  And are ALL fruits/veggies free now??

Love you forever if you can share the point levels ;-)

Re: Anyone doing WW Points Plus??

  • Most fruits and veggies are free, with some exceptions (avocados, corn, edamame that I've found so far)

I'm nursing part time, so I'm getting tons of points (36/day)

I'm currently 185 lbs, without nursing, it would be 29 points/day.

Then there's 49 bonus points per week.

  • Thank you!  This is most helpful :)

  • The points are calculated completely different now as well. Calories are no longer used in the points calculation, points now are based on fat, protein, carbs and fiber. This is why you will now get more points than you did before. I'd highly recommend signing up online, even if it's just for a couple of months (they are doing free registration online right now if sign up for the first 3 months). That way you can get a feel for the new system and then you could do it on your own after that.

This. AND, the lowest you go is 29 points. But, they dont consider calories anymore and the formula is different. Most foods have a higher point value now, but you get more food too since fruit and veggies (most) are free. They consider carbs, fat, fiber and protein now rather than fat, calories and fiber.

  • So basically, I'm going to have to sign up online for a few months and hope that my DH doesn't see it and freak out on me ;-)

Thanks for the insight ladies! :)

I would hope that your DH would be supportive of a program and information that is helping you be as healthy as you can be :)

It really has changed a lot and I stopped going to the meetings in November so I am now trying to motivate to return and relearn the program.  I do have etools so I have access to point values, but I'd like to know the philosophy behind it all.  Good luck!
