I am late to the post.. but if you are near Wegmans, they sell a cream that works miracles.  DD had the WORST diaper rash til I bought this stuff.  I don't know the name, but it has a goat on the container and it's red with a yellow top.  I think it's on the end of the aisle of the baby stuff right by the pharmacy.  If it's the Wegmans by Fair Oaks.

thanks! too bad I just now logged in, we made our weekly trip to Wegman's just a couple of hours ago. But I will look for it next weekend, thanks so much

I've been washing his butt with water and letting him air dry
