  • Awesome!  My DS (also in the picky eater category) one day decided broccoli (steamed) was OK.  At first he would only eat tiny pieces with no stem, now, if given the choice, he'd eat it practically everyday.

  • Some days I feel like there's a light at the end of the tunnel with my picky eater.

One day last week, he decided he liked egg salad (ew, I don't even like egg salad).

He also surprised me by liking popcorn and just today, ate a ham and cheese sandwich.  As a sandwich, not as separate components.

I realize that none of these are incredibly healthy options, but at least they're different than the 5 things (or so it seems) he's been eating since he was 3.

  • My ds eats raw broccoli too because it looks like little trees. It's only one of three vegetables that he will eat. But he has to dip them in sour cream dip - whatever works! Way to go, Michelle!
  • Yay!  My picky eater (DS1) has been eating more lately!  I think he is in a growth spurt!

  • Congrats!!!!!!!!!! DS, on the other hand, isn't buying the tree bit! He still won't touch the stuff! Honestly, to this day, I still don't know how he is even growing because he is the pickiest child I have ever seen.

  • Funny! Last night I made homemade chicken nuggets and pasta with white sauce. I also made spinach to hide in DD and DS's pasta. DD runs by and sees the spinach on her plate and yelled, "Yum! Spinach! I love spinach!" I was like, "WTF?" She ate two big servings of it. DS still won't touch it, though. You're right, There is hope!
