A convertible/booster seat with a base! I wonder how it is. This could be a great option for Charlotte when the time comes and save us on buying 2 seats....
This blog has a little info..https://carseatblog.com/7984/graco-signature-smart-seat-all-in-one-preview/ I'd be worried about the crotch strap positions - says they are shorter than the Nautilus, and there have been MANY complaints that those are too close. The highest harness slot is 17.5", which is a bit higher than the Nautilus (17" I think).
It says the additional bases are $100. So you're looking at $400. If the seat weight/harness height limits are similar to the MyRide (which is about $150) it may not be such a great deal (buying 2 MyRides and 2 HB boosters). It will be interesting to read some reviews.
I was given the opportunity to "play" with it hands on (I'm a car seat tech) It's certainly an interesting idea, but personally, I wouldnt recommend it for several reasons. $400 (seat plus extra base) is a lot. It's almost 40 lbs. HEAVY. The recline for RF is ridiculous and there's almost no way to make it more upright. Even older RF toddlers/preschoolers will have to be practically laying flat on their backs, and it takes up a TON of space. It doesnt fit a lot of kids very well as a booster. I dont know...I wanted to like it, but I just didnt.
Plus, you can buy 2 (or even 3) really GREAT seats for $400.

Good points. I guess they are on the right track, but as with any first of something the kinks need to be ironed out. I never thought the base would be $100!
