We finally made it to Hilo and I finally have time to get on the Bump and post an update. We arrived in Hawaii on Jan 15th and spent time on Oahu with our family and K got to meet his great-grandma She's going to be 87 this year, so I really wanted them to meet and spend time together.
The flight over was ok. He did really well on our first 2 flights (India to Bangkok and Bangkok to Japan)...slept well and ate well. But on the flight from Japan to Hawaii, which was our longest...he was a cranky pants and refused to sleep more than 45 minutes at a time. He did however, make some nice new friends on the aircraft
Settling into Hawaii was a bit of a challenge in that he did NOT want to leave my side. Even with my hubby. I guess the change in scenery, time and all the new faces was a bit overwhelming for him at first, but I'm happy to say that now, he'll gladly play with my mom and dad for up to 20 minutes!
Anyhow, thanks ladies for the good travel vibes! They totally helped...and having the Ergo for our airport transfers really helped!
Hope you're all doing well and can't wait to catch up on all the happenings here!!

You made it safely! Bella was a cranky pants for our flight from KC to WI but at the same time, it's a cramped space for a toddler or any child over the age of a few weeks.
I'm glad you guys are settled now. Enjoy your time and be sure to take plenty of pics. I always say I'm going to take pics and then I forget and get home and wish I would have taken more
haha, me too!! i can't imagine traveling that long/far even on my own!
glad you made it safely though (can't believe you're already there, i remember when you booked your trip and it seems like yesterday!). enjoy your time there w/friends and family

me either Jaime! I've always wanted to go to Australia, but the flight is what was keeping me away (now it's time, the baby, the money, etc!).
Glad you made it safely!
