Woot!

I just remembered that I didn't ask the OB I saw Monday how my Group B Strep test results turned out so I pulled out the card they gave me at my first appointment to keep track of appointments and what I weighed, blood pressure, just basic information. In the top right hand corner was a place for them to record the GBS- and luckily for me the nurse who wrote down my stats also recorded my test results: NEGATIVE!! WOOHOO!! :-D No antibiotic IV for me (thank God!!) I'm sitting here cruising the internet, jamming to Jo Dee Messina just waiting for DH to get home so we can have our date night, my day just got THAT much better. :-)

    Woot! I was supposed to find out my test Monday, but we did an accidental L&D trial run (false alarm, I hang my head in shame...) last night so I found out I am negative as well! Yes

    On a side note i feel that there should be a high five emoticon...

    Yay! I was so happy to be negative too, because I really didn't want an IV. DH and I are going out tonight too - woot!

    No shame in the trial run, you just never know, but something good came from it, you're GBS Negatory! lol 

     

    And agreed on the high five emote. That'd be pretty sweet.
