Awesome day yesterday....

We went to the zoo, which was really nice because there was like, no one there. DD loved the fish and reptiles and the little monkeys in the small mammal house. MIL got us a Zooilogical Society membership for Christmas and it is the best gift EVER. Then DD went to bed early (for her) and stayed down until 3 am. Which meant that I got to cuddle my husband for an entire movie, drink a beer, and even get some sleep myself! DD woke up twice but I still got a solid 4-5 hours in my bed with no baby. And when I did bring her into our bed, she nursed and conked, no messing around and slept until 8:30. Beautiful.

Those kinds of days are the best!  I also love the Milwaukee zoo!  There is always so much to see, that membership was such a good idea!

What a great gift! Cant beat those nights either! LO has her first cold and it's a killer one too. Poor thing has snot everywhere & can't stand for me to suction her nose.

Yay for sleeping babies!

I'm not sure if DS is ready for the zoo yet. He barely gets animals...sometimes it seems like he sees right through them as if they don't exist. But I could see how he would like the fish.
