Gagging on bottles at 5 months?

WTF? Gwen was doing so well not eating "like a preemie" and now all of the sudden, she is gagging, and urping on her Dr. Browns. We have been using them since the nicu, so I am not sure what the deal could be. We upped the nipple to 2s then back to 1s and then back to preemie flow.

What gives? it has been in the last week. She will gag and freak with the Dr. Brown bottles. We are having a bit better luck with MAMs, but not much, Suggestions? I am worried about her getting dehydrated again. She is only 11 lbs, and has only had about 13 oz today because feeding has been such a fight.

Is she possibly teething or getting/getting over a cold? DD has reflux, and she has had some pretty bad choking/gagging episodes while eating (starting around 9ish months). We finally realized that any extra saliva or mucous from teething or a cold caused her to have difficulty eating. We did a swallow study, and it didn't show anything significant. She still coughs when she drinks sometimes, but she's not aspirating anything so no one is concerned.

Hopefully she's back to eating normally again soon... I know how scary feeding issues can be!

This? My LOs gagged on bottles/nipples that they had been doing ok with, when they came down with bad colds and had a lot of mucus.

I hope she's back to normal eating soon!
