... do you still have sore spots?  I do.  My last PIO shot was about 19 months ago and I STILL have areas on my rump that are sore if I brush against something.  Is that normal?  It's not like the spots are chronically sore, but there is definitely still some hypersensitivity there.  PIO sucks.  I can't believe I lucked out and don't have to be on it this time!

    No but I did have numb spots for awhile

    i do!  if i press in certain areas they are still sore...i was on pio untill 11 weeks pg
    1 chemical and 1 loss at 9 weeks prior to DS
    IVF #1 1/10-transfered 2 blasts- DS born 10/2010

    Trying for # 2 since 2012.  2 failed FETS 1 failed IUI.
    IUI#2 4/14/14-- BFP !!!!! Beta #1 14dpiui= 45 Beta #2 16dpiui= 80  Beta #3 18dpiui= 88 (chemical pregnancy)
    March 2015- Chemical pg

    1/25/16- BFP  Beta1 12dpo = 17, Beta 2 14 dpo = 28.. resulted in one beautiful boy born 9/21/16 :)

    Now I'm a stay at home loving life and pursuing my love of photography!!!

    I never got to congratulate you on your pg!!!! I have only been checking the boards from my iPhone since I had Abbie and I didn't learn how to post from it until recently. I am SO excited for you!!! I know how shocking it is to get a spontaneous BFP after so many years of being told it wasn't likely to happen. I'm thrilled for you and your family. :-)

    Hmm... I don't.  I think mine went away within about 6 months of stopping PIO for both pregnancies.  Maybe it is scar tissue?

    I have to congratulate you too! Wow! We JUST got internet access back today after over a month without.

     

    No sore spots for me anymore, thank goodness (which surprises me given how absolutely freakin' terrible my lumps were) but I do have a couple of small permanent lumps under the skin.

    I've done three rounds of PIO and while I had lingering soreness it did go away in about a month. That doesn't seem normal to me.

    Eh, it's probably just some nerve damage.  I mean, 5 cycles with the last being 2cc daily for 10 weeks - damage is bound to happen.  And nerve damage can take years to heal. I don't think it is anything dangerous - just wasn't sure if I was speshul Wink  Guess so!  (and thanks quizzle!)

    Yep! Like you, I had 5 cycles, the last being 2ccs for 10 weeks. It's still sore sometimes.
    TTC since 8/07 DX - Severe MFI/azoospermia & MTHFR/ TESEs found sperm - 7/08 & 6/09/ 12/08 - IVF#1 - BFN/ 6/09 - IVF #2 - cancelled due to OHSS risk (had retrieval)/ 7/09 - FET #1 - BFN/ 9/09 - FET #2 - BFN/ 11/09 - IVF #3 with new RE cancelled twice - 10/09 & 11/09/ 1/10 - IVF #3 take 3 - BFN/ 4/10 - IVF #4 - first ever BFP on 5/13/10!!! 108 @ 10dp3dt/ 2nd beta 311!/ sono on 5/28/10 said TWINS!!!!     No, but my doctors (RE and OB) took me off them during my 6th week.
    DX: Him: Super sperm Me: Diminished pituitary function due to tumor removed April 2008, MTHFR Hetero C677T & A1298C
    IVF #1-4=BFN IVF #5=BFP! U/S on 5/3 revealed TWINS!
