What does a mucous plug look like?

So I never saw my mucous plug with DD.

I'm 36 weeks today and have had discharge in the past 2 weeks but its been white-ish and now I just went to the bathroom - along with the white (less though) there was thick, clear and mucousy but not a GLOB really - just like under dime size globs on the tissue when I whiped.

It can have blood, brown,  or pink in it, but bleeding as in red blood is not normal. Watery discharge should also get checked out.

Um, I saw mine the second time, and Elena was right behind!

That's what it sounds like, though mine was light pinkish.  It wasn't huge.

I think I saw part of mine, but I was already in labor. I went to the bathroom after my water broke, as we were getting ready to go to the hospital. It was a relatively small amount of what looked like EWCM, but with streaks of red/brown in it.

mine looked like a big glob of clear/white snot.

Mine came out over a period of 2 days. It looked like a big yellow/greenish booger. It was the size of a dime, maybe a bit bigger the first day and the second day it was bigger, a bit bigger than a quarter.

I think mine has been coming out in pieces although I havent had any yesterday or today so I think it might be done.  It is kind of globby and booger-like.  I dont know if EWCM is the right comparison for what I saw, this was even thicker than that I think.  I've lost a bunch this past week and ended up going from 0-3cm so hopefully it means something is happening!
