What did you get flamed for?
I like to think I was pretty smart in the early days so I didn't say or do anything too dumb to start any major flame fests. But lets face it, most of us have been flamed at some point. What did you say that got you put back in your place?

I had a different user name before this one, which I forgot the password too that is why I have this one. Anyway, all I did was ask on the "babies on the brain" board how they knew they were ready to have a baby and they basically attacked me. I am still unsure as to how that is flame worthy..::shrugs shoulders::
I have gotten flamed more than once.
The biggest one was when I shared that our household uses cloth instead of paper for everything, including tp.
I mainly remember LCB and Slwhatley really going at it.
I pondered on blocking them at the time but got over it.
Honestly? I've never been really flamed. Ever.
There was someone (a reg on my old home board back in the day) who created an AE specifically to give me a hard time, which is what led to my 2 year Nestcation, but I've never been actually flamed on a national board.

I once did a DD after I asked if would be consided tacky to basically co-host my shower (my mom threw me one, but I ended up doing all of the work).
Then I cried and stayed away from the bump for a month.
Sorry, but this makes me LMAO. The Knotties on that board are notoriously bitchy. "Dead baby animal", indeed. I wonder how many of their wedding meals involved eggs. Dead (almost) baby animal. SCANDELOUS!

When I found out I was pregnant, I freaked out about quitting smoking. I posted about how to go about quitting smoking on 1st tri board.
I got flamed royally.
Needless to say, I felt like a jerk, but I ended up being able to quit smoking in a heartbeat the day after.
Maybe it's just me, but I can't understand why someone would flame you for this.... You were asking a legitimate question so that you could do the best for yourself and your baby by quitting.
I have gotten flamed on the baby name board (before I became a reg over there) I was the classic post before lurking...BIG mistake.
I dont know if it would be getting flamed but people thought I was MUD because I didnt know I was pregnant til 29 weeks.
On one of the tri boards there was a controversy over bare belly pics and I thought people were making fun of the OP's weight, and I tried to be supportive and got flamed/b!tched at.
Oh how much I have learned since then.

Never really been flamed but some chick went all BSC on me when I said that I didn't like Winnie the Pooh--I believe it was even complete with feeling sorry for my husband and children.

I tried searching for the thread but the search system on the bump sucks royally.
I got flamed when I posted about getting pregnant. DH and I didn't plan on having kids so getting pregnant and then finding out we were having twins was a bit of a shock to put it mildly. I aired out my inner thoughts, which included feeling "devastated" was how I put it, because I hadn't yet told anyone I knew and had to process things a little bit.
I was told to put my big girl panties on and was flamed for not protecting myself more from getting pregnant.
Anywho, it was a year ago this past Monday that I received the positive pregnancy test and for all the initial reservations I had and for as scared shiitless as I was I would not have things any other way. Well, that's not true. I wish I had a cleaning lady.
That is one of the craziest things I've ever heard.

In maybe 1st or 2nd Tri, we were talking about hospital tours and I said that I was happy that my midwifes group automatically scheduled a tour for us as part of one of our appointments.
LCB made a remark along the lines of "how hard is it to call the hospital and schedule a tour." I didn't engage her, so nothing else really came of it. Not really a flaming, but it was the first (and only) time a posted was ever rude to me for no reason. Not super exciting.
I was flamed on the pets board for complaining about the dog shortly after we adopted him.
I was flamed for using the word "gay". I like the word, I love gay people, I have many family members who are gay. I use the word...so be it.
I've been flamed a few other times, but I really don't remember. I am guessing I don't remember because it didn't bother me in the least.

I always get flamed by the AEs...the only person who ever calls me out under their real sn is LCB. and well her name has been mentioned like 5 times already in this thread so that's not a big deal. LOL
I sweartogod if I wouldn't have seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it. I'm still confused why she picked me out of all of the people agreeing with the statement to go off on. Maybe it was because she really did buy her bedding at Walmart. ;-)

wow...that's hilarious. I don't like Winnie the Pooh either. I remember most of these on the trimester boards, but didn't know who you were. Now that you have pictures of the babies on here is how I recognize people.

Someone else in that same post got flamed for saying retard since we compared saying gay to saying retarded. It wasn't super interesting though. If I remember, it was a pretty rational discussion.

Meh. I've always liked you (despite your chock-full-of-crazytown hate of Apple). FWIW, your ring sounds lovely and I kinda like the idea of the flower girl with wings. If the wings were for you though, I would have laughed my a*s off.

Yeah, for some reason I thought she ended up apologizing for the "when you have a baby" part once she actually read my siggy. Or maybe I made that up in my head in an effort to make her less of a ridiculous assshole.
I don't remember if she apologized. I'm surprised I remember that crap anyway. I was so stressed to the max during 2nd tri before we knew if K was ok and going to make it. God that all seems like such a bad dream now.
