Anyone else on Lexapro?

I've only been on it a week and I'm feeling pretty good.  I haven't had any crying spells.  I'm not losing it with my toddler.  I just feel peaceful and not so negative about everything.  The only negative side affect I've had is clenching my jaw and I feel more hungry.  How long have you been on Lexapro?  What were your side affects?  Did they eventually go away?  Thanks!

I took it for about 11 months. I noticed I was a bit more tired than usual and I gained weight while I was on it. But, I really had a good experience with it otherwise. I felt like a new person after just a few days on it. It really helped my anxiety a lot.

Im on Celexa which they say is almost the same chemical makeup just more affordable(no insurance here) and it worked within days and has been doing a great job ever since!! Been almost 5 most now! It does make me a bit tired but what SAHM of a 6 month old isnt a little tired. I mean I can make is from 8 am to midnight and manage to do things in and out of the house every day. Good luck to you

I've been on lexapro since 2003, and have continued to take while I am pregnant.  I know when I don't take it my only side effect is the electric shock feeling.  The side effects do go away eventually, but when I stopped my depression got worse over time.  Otherwise baby & I are well.
