I've been on the 3-6 month board and didn't even know this was here! I'm looking for mommy groups in the area. Anyone know of any?

    this is exactly what i did when i moved her last year.  needless to say i never met anyone either!

    YES! Ha it will be awesome. If you ladies really wanna start our own mommy group we could do a fun meet up. I was going to go to the aquarium tomorrow (feb. 1st) but because of the weather and nate getting croup i think I'll skip that tomorrow but we could do our first meet up there (I know I'm a nut about the aquarium.. I'm pretty sure I'll be buying a season pass there) I have a million places to go just noone to go there with me...darn =] Any date that works well for ya'll??

    Where are y'all located?  I just moved here and tried Meetup.com as well.  Most didnt really suit me, but there is one the North Dallas that seems really active, but I haven't gone to anything yet.

     I joined the cecpta.org - Carrollton Early Childhood PTA (for people who's kids aren't in school yet).  They have great playgroups each week for every age group.  I have met some great women.  We have an incredibly active playgroup for babies.  Check it out if you are in the area.  We have met from Vista Ridge to WillowBend and in between so far and are planning outings to the zoo and arboretum.  The PTA mtgs are great too.

    I am located right south of Dallas like 30 mins away from the heart of it. So I figured our meet ups can take place at like The Dallas World Aquarium, The Science Museum, Either the Dallas or Forth Worth Zoo either one works for me. If you have any place you want to do a meet up just throw it out there I don't do anything so I just go whereever!

    And Chevy how does.... humm does next Monday or Tuesday sound like a day you would want to go? Monday its like 60degrees and Tuesday 51. Or anyother day. I just figured on the weekdays it would be less busy!
