I've been thinking about doing something like this with Parker instead of buying them.  These are perfect!!

Cut a heart out of paper.  We used 12" by 12" card stock.  I did a sample one smaller, so any size would probably work.  DD writes so big, so we needed a big area.  She's almost 4.

Start with the heart up and facing you. (Disregard my dirty craft table and the fact that my daughter is 3)...Keeping it real!

 Fold the sides of the heart half way, watch the bottom, you will want it to be sqare, like an envelope:

Then fold down the top about half of the way, keeping it square:

Then fold the bottom tip up and secure with a heart sticker, or other cute sticker.

I suggest making a template first, so that you can practice.

I'm not the best at explaining things, that is why I included a picture.
